Ely & St Ives Railway

This company was authorised on 23rd June 1864 as the Ely, Haddenham & Sutton Railway and completed on 16th April 1866.

An extension was authorised in 1876 and the company changed it's name to the Ely & St Ives Railway on completion of that extension in May 1878.

It was absorbed by the GER under an agreement of 19th July 1897, although it had been leased by that company since it's opening.
